Gilbert is now in 2008 the 5th fastest growing city in the U.S.  It is also the  fastest growing large suburb according to Forbes (Aug 2007) now closing in on a population of 200,000.

   The average age of Gilbert’s residents is 29 years and they have the highest median household income in the area.
